Our Terms & Policies

A quick note before you read.

We’ve designed our policies to support the kind of experience Forte is known for:

Small classes.
Thoughtful instruction.
A space where you feel seen, supported, and never rushed.

To keep that consistent for everyone, we ask for a shared understanding of how things work.

This isn’t about rules for the sake of it—
it’s about creating a space that runs smoothly and feels good to be in.

Before you arrive.

Your experience starts before you even walk through the door.

To make your first visit feel easy, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early, especially if it’s your first class. This gives you time to settle in, ask questions, and get comfortable without feeling rushed.

A few simple things to keep in mind:
– Grip socks are required for all classes (available for purchase in studio)
– Wear comfortable, fitted workout attire
– No sneakers, denim, or work clothes on the reformers
– Please bring water

You must be 18 or older to take class, and a waiver will be required before participating. No exceptions.

Booking your classes.

All classes must be booked in advance through your account.

Because our classes are intentionally small, spots are limited—and often fill quickly. We recommend booking ahead and planning your schedule when possible.

A few important notes:
– Members can book classes up to 30 days in advance; Single session & class pack holders can book classes up to 14 days in advance.
– A valid membership or class pack is required to reserve a spot
– Reservations must be made through your account (not via text, email, or social media)

If you happen to arrive early and a spot is open, we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellations + late policy.

We understand that plans change—and we do our best to be flexible where we can. All cancelations must be made through your account.

To keep things fair for all clients, we have a 12-hour cancellation window.

– Cancel before 12 hours → no penalty, class returned
– Cancel within 12 hours → late cancellation fee applies
– No-show → no-show fee applies

For membership clients:
– $15 late cancel fee
– $25 no-show fee
– Class is returned to your account

For class pack clients:
– Late cancel or no-show = class is forfeited
– One cancellation per year may be waived for 5-class packs

For private sessions:
– Missed sessions will be charged in full ($100)

This allows waitlisted clients the opportunity to take class.

Arriving to class.

Classes begin on time.

To maintain the flow and safety of the class:
– If you are not present at the start, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist
– Clients arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted

We know life happens—but this helps create a consistent experience for everyone in the room.

New clients (first time visit) who are not present at the start of class will not be allowed in due to safety reasons.

Waitlist process.

If a class is full, we always recommend joining the waitlist. You must purchase a class membership or class pack in order to reserve a spot on the waitlist.

It moves more than you think. You can confirm where you are in line on the waitlist by checking the lineup on your schedule in your account.

Here’s how it works:
– You’ll be automatically added if a spot opens
– You’ll receive an email confirmation when you’re in
– You can join up to 2 hours before class

After that, we may text you if a spot becomes available.

Once you’re added to class, standard cancellation policies apply—so please remove yourself if your plans change.

Memberships + billing.

Memberships are designed to support consistency—and they follow a simple structure:

– 3-month minimum commitment
– Then month-to-month renewal
– 30 days notice required to cancel

Additional details:
– Memberships can be upgraded with 30 days notice
– Classes do not roll over month-to-month
– Payments are processed automatically
– Failed payments will pause booking access

Membership credits/classes (4x a month, 8x a month) do not rollover to the next month and can't be extended for use outside of the 30 day window.

Guest passes DO NOT rollover to the next month and can't be extended for use outside of the 30 day window.

Guest passes are not transferable to other clients.

By purchasing a membership you are authorizing Forte Pilates to, on a recurring basis, automatically charge the debit or credit card account associated with your account, for monthly payments due associated with your membership and any fees stated in our late cancellation policy.

Forte Pilates will initiate charges each month on the date your contract is set to renew. Forte Pilates has the right to discontinue processing of memberships or late cancellation fees if unable to secure funds from the debit or credit card associated with your account.

Memberships and class packs are non-transferable.

Class packs + expiration.

To keep your practice consistent, class packs are time-bound:

– Single drop-in: 14 days
– 5-class pack: 45 days

Guest passes and unused classes do not roll over or extend beyond their expiration window.

All package sales are final.

In the studio.

We’ve created a space that allows you to fully disconnect and focus on your body.

To support that:
– Phones are kept in cubbies during class
– You’re encouraged to be present for your full 50 minutes

(Photos before and after class are always welcome—we love seeing you share your experience.)

All sock and merchandise sales are final.

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items in our studio. We will keep track of lost items only for a certain amount of time. Please email us info@fortepilatesstudio.com if you have left any items at our studio.

Health + safety.

Your safety matters—always.

If you have:
– An injury
– A physical limitation
– Or are pregnant

Please let your instructor know before class.

If something doesn’t feel safe, we may recommend modifying or rescheduling your session—and your class will always be returned.

A note on personal responsibility.

By participating in classes at Forte, you acknowledge that:

– Movement comes with physical and mental risk
– You are choosing to participate voluntarily
– Forte Pilates is not responsible for lost or stolen items

A full waiver and liability release will be provided and must be signed prior to participation.
